In 2022 I was commissioned for GOLDEN TONGUES by UCLA & Playwright’s Arena.

The 24 HR. Plays

24 Hour Plays

“Feel Better” by Lina Patel, performed by Paul Fitzgerald.

When Mark Armstrong and the 24 Hour Plays team asked me to make a THIRD 24 Hour Viral Monologue for their one-year anniversary round, I said YES please! Previous actors I was paired with were Melia Kreilng (“Mammals”) and Mia Ellis. This time I was teamed up with a dear friend, the multi-talented Paul Fitzgerald (“Younger”), who took my midnight-oil burning words and brought them to humorous, soulful and musical life.

The pieces are written, rehearsed and recorded in 24 feverish hours. They’ve been written about in the New York Times. The monologues are archived on Instagram @24hourplays. They bring creative communities together to benefit charities and nonprofits.  Monologues are free to view. Always.  Support their mission! Donate at

Theater Artists Making Theatre With No Theater: Spring 2020

I’m in this new book of poems, monologues, and artwork featuring the work of artists grappling with what was, in the spring of 2020, a new pandemic and living under quarantine. The idea for the book was dreamed up and curated by Sheila Callaghan, Kelly Miller, and Meg Miroshnik.

Check out the book here: All proceeds go to a relief fund for theater artists:

I served as Co-Producer for Season 2 of Cherish the Day, an anthology series from Ava Duvernay. We premiered in 2022 and you can stream our show anytime.

I got to serve as dramaturg/adaptor, assisting my friend, director Jennifer Chang, on Shakespeare’s MUCH ADO ABOUT NOTHING at Pomona College. In 2023 I will be teaching Writing for Performance at Pomona!

The New Harmony Project

In 2021 I happily returned to New Harmony Project, whose mission is to create, nurture and promote new works for the stage, television, and film that sensitively and truthfully explore the positive aspects of life. Below are some viral videos we created previously, during Pandemic.

"At New Harmony Project we're all sharing a common goal; to create meaningful and enlightening work that will have a positive impact on the world!"
